For the last 10 days of school one balloon will be popped for a special surprise each day! The kids were screaming for joy when we popped the first balloon!!

We started a new unit of writing- Informational Writing. A first for me teaching this new unit. The kids chose a topic they know a lot about. Once a child had five facts they knew about their topic, they were considered to be an expert and could begin to write their informational book. They worked on this twice today.. They are SO interested in writing their books!
