We had our first whole school assembly! The theme was getting to know you. I shared an iMovie that I made of students in all grades sharing what they like about our beautiful new building. When we got back to our classroom, each child made a page on Book Creator (importing an illustration from Drawing Pad and a photo from the camera roll) for a class book on this same topic.
Our focus in math was on story problems. We worked on finding the sum and even tried finding a missing addend!
The kids used Explain Everything to solve a story problem. I love seeing all of the different strategies to find an answer.
